What you will do

• Architect and implement core telephony framework components including calling, data connectivity, messaging, Wi-Fi calling, eSIM provisioning, and 5G integration.
• Optimize telephony stack performance for call setup latency, network registration, and power efficiency across diverse carrier networks and device configurations.
• Partner with product management to translate customer experience goals into technical designs and implementation.
• Collaborate with modem/baseband, OS platform, QA/certification, and cloud services teams to deliver differentiated telephony features end-to-end.
• Lead design reviews, own critical architectural decisions, and drive resolution of complex technical issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of Android development experience
• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
