Location: Edmonds, Washington, United States, with field service travel to shipyards, vessels, and customer facilities. Travel is up to 50% domestically and 10% internationally. US citizenship and proof of no dual citizenship are required for access to NOFORN information.
Salary: $38β$43 per hour, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 retention bonus after 12 months.

What you will do
- Install, repair, service, maintain, test, and commission electric and hydraulic davit systems.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, component replacement, corrective maintenance, and field service.
- Conduct annual and five-year inspections and safety checks in line with manufacturer procedures, classification requirements, SOLAS, and maritime regulations.
- Prepare service reports, inspection documentation, and technical records.
- Represent the company with customers, explain findings and recommendations, and support first-time fixes.
- Provide feedback to Engineering and Product Management and collaborate with Program Management, Production, Supply Chain, and Quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hands-on field service, maintenance, hydraulic, electrical, crane, industrial, or heavy-equipment experience.
- Ability to read diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and manuals and use hydraulic and electrical test equipment.
- Valid driverβs license and ability to obtain required travel documents, visas, and site clearances.
- Ability to work in shipboard and industrial environments, including standing, climbing, bending, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- US citizenship is required, and applicants must attest that they do not hold dual citizenship.
Nice to have
- Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, marine, or a related technical field.
- Technical or vocational training in hydraulic or electrical systems, crane maintenance, or industrial maintenance.
- Low- or high-voltage electrical systems experience.
- Prior military experience with hydraulic or electrical systems, especially in naval or coast guard services.
