TL;DR
HOA Relationship Development Manager (Community Association Banking): Building and expanding commercial banking relationships with HOA and property management clients with an accent on consultative business development, Treasury Management services, and credit and deposit products. Focus on prospecting, negotiating banking terms, managing client portfolios, assessing fraud and collateral risks, and coordinating account and loan documentation.

Location: Fully onsite in San Diego, California at 11720 El Camino Real, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92130

Salary: $90,000–$175,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation

What you will do

  • Develop, prospect, and close new depository and commercial banking relationships with HOA and property management clients.
  • Promote banking products through outreach, client visits, community events, and trade shows.
  • Assess client financial needs, accounting platforms, banking efficiency opportunities, and fraud mitigation requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, credit agreements, financial covenants, and reporting requirements.
  • Manage and deepen an existing HOA client portfolio, monitor Treasury Management usage, and resolve escalated issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and facilitate documentation for deposit and loan accounts, renewals, and preliminary underwriting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in financial services and/or property management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer and prospect relationships.
  • Ability to analyze business and financial information, exercise judgment, negotiate terms, and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and build productive internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work fully onsite at the San Diego location.
