Procurement Manager (Gas Power Generation)

Location: Remote/traveling for corporate use, with an estimated 15–25% travel to project sites, supplier facilities, and the Avon/hirify.global campus.

Salary: $110,617–$160,396 per year.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end procurement delivery for assigned material categories from project award through final site delivery.
• Create and oversee initial purchase orders for assigned categories.
• Develop and maintain material procurement schedules linked to engineering milestones, order deadlines, and on-site need dates.
• Identify long-lead items and coordinate pre-order timing and risk authorization with Engineering and Project Management.
• Direct and coach Buyers in structured expediting and track promised versus actual delivery performance.
• Manage supplier, commercial, quality, and delivery escalations through resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in construction project delivery, procurement, or project engineering on gas-fired power generation projects.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience.
• Ability to travel 15–25% to project sites, supplier facilities, and the corporate campus.

Nice to have

• Direct experience managing long-lead material procurement on EPC projects.
