TL;DR
Director, Higher Education Initiatives (Content and Communications): Creating external-facing resources, messaging, reports, newsletters, and campaigns for higher education enrollment and financial aid audiences with an accent on clear communication, visual content, and data-informed improvement. Focus on managing cross-functional initiatives, developing AP and affordability messaging, coordinating project delivery, and strengthening College Board program adoption.

Location: Remote in the USA. Candidates living near hirify.global offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work with in-office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, approximately 8–12 times per year.

Salary: $80,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Create and integrate presentations, action guides, best-practice guides, reports, briefs, newsletters, emails, and web content for higher education audiences.
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing to develop organizational messaging, talking points, campaigns, and resources.
  • Develop AP value messaging and case studies supporting institutional acceptance and program use.
  • Manage higher education projects and initiatives, including STARS/Rural Access initiatives and AP fly-in planning.
  • Coordinate project planning, tracking, communication, delivery, and follow-up with cross-functional partners.
  • Support reporting cycles and improve outreach processes across the Higher Education portfolio.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of progressively increasing experience managing content- and communication-focused projects in higher education.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, proofreading, visualization, and professional-audience content development skills.
  • Experience creating content and messaging for admissions, enrollment, and financial aid audiences.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
