Senior Manager, Instructor Community & Excellence (Healthcare Education)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, with in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 base salary annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Define instructional quality standards across Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, Patient Care Tech, and related entry-level healthcare certificate programs.
• Build observation rubrics, coaching workflows, feedback cadences, and instructor development systems.
• Build and motivate a faculty community through virtual connection, best-practice sharing, recognition, and feedback programs.
• Develop self-serve tools and dashboards showing pass rates, student engagement, cohort progress, and other classroom impact metrics.
• Lead a Cohort Logistics Manager and 2–3 Instructor Quality Specialists while overseeing the broader faculty network.
• Partner with Curriculum, Product, and Growth teams on program changes, cohort scheduling, curriculum improvements, and new program launches.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in instructional quality, curriculum, or education operations.
• Experience managing a large team or network of contractors or adjunct instructors.
• Background as a teacher and strong communication, coaching, and group leadership skills.
• Experience building observation rubrics, coaching workflows, and performance-tracking systems from scratch.
• Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
• Experience in healthcare education and fluency with LMS platforms are required capabilities for the role.

Nice to have

• Experience at an early-stage or Series A–C startup.
• Experience using data to drive instructional quality decisions.
