Admissions Team Lead

Location: hirify.global Austin; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance Tuesday–Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring new H-1B sponsorship. H-1B transfers and TN visa sponsorship for eligible Canadian and Mexican citizens are supported.

Salary: $72,000–$82,000 base salary per year plus equity grant.

What you will do

• Manage and coach a team of 7–10 Admissions Counselors toward individual and enrollment goals.
• Oversee counselor pipelines, record-keeping, daily and cohort targets, and regular pipeline reviews.
• Monitor performance, score introductory calls, provide feedback, and identify skill gaps.
• Communicate new information, processes, and updates while maintaining accountability.
• Report on lead quality, volume, and team trends, and recommend operational improvements.
• Support onboarding, professional development, training, delegation, and potential promotions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in admissions recruitment or high-volume student-facing sales.
• Prior leadership or management experience with direct reports.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams toward performance goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication, emotional intelligence, analytical, and reporting skills.
• U.S. work authorization without requiring new H-1B sponsorship.
• Ability to attend the Austin office Tuesday–Thursday.

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup or rapidly scaling environment.
• Experience delivering presentations or representing a department externally.
• Background in training, facilitation, or curriculum support.
