Student Success Team Lead (Education)

Location: hirify.global Austin; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance Tuesday–Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring new H-1B sponsorship. H-1B transfers and TN visa sponsorship for eligible Canadian and Mexican citizens are supported.

Salary: $72,000–$82,000 base salary per year, plus equity grant.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and support a team of success coaches.
• Guide coaches in building meaningful student relationships and improving retention and engagement.
• Run weekly team meetings and pipeline sessions to identify retention strategies and focus areas.
• Track KPIs including retention, attendance, student NPS, calls, emails, and texts.
• Monitor calls, provide coaching feedback, manage a small student caseload, and handle escalated concerns.
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to implement initiatives and continuously improve the student success program.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in customer service, education, student support, or coaching and mentoring programs.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and staff.
• Experience using data and performance metrics to guide decisions.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed.
• U.S. work authorization without requiring new H-1B sponsorship; H-1B transfers and TN sponsorship may be supported where eligible.

Nice to have

• Prior teaching experience, especially at the high school level.
• Experience in education or a mission-driven organization.
