Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Electrical Systems)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; second shift; onsite work across office and production-floor environments

What you will do

• Execute, develop, optimize, and document metal fabrication and assembly processes within the work center.
• Support process validations, capacity analysis, production trials, and first-of-kind builds under senior engineering guidance.
• Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, and operator and design-engineer training programs.
• Monitor production quality, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions for quality, delivery, and safety issues.
• Partner with operations, engineering, quality, and Learning & Development teams on process changes, cross-training, and continuous improvement.
• Enforce safety protocols, 5S practices, standard work, operational policies, and Lean Manufacturing methods.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or an associate degree in electronics, electromechanics, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably involving electrical or industrial equipment.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards, safety protocols, quality control systems, and practices.
• Ability to understand electrical systems and components and read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform regular production-floor movement.
