What you will do

  • Improve manufacturing processes, training, documentation, and controls to increase production efficiency and product quality.
  • Optimize production line layouts and material flows.
  • Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure product manufacturability.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
  • Scale manufacturing processes to support production ramp-up.
  • Implement continuous improvement systems, PFEP, PFMEA, process controls, plant standards, and change management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in motor, actuator, drone, automotive, or robotics manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including automation, assembly, and quality control.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, PFMEA, process improvement methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems, along with strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; willingness to travel as needed is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with drone motor or robotic actuator manufacturing.
  • Manufacturing simulation experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and vendor relations.
