What you will do

  • Assemble electric aircraft components, including flight control computers, motor inverters, and airplane consoles.
  • Operate production equipment and construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and assemblies.
  • Interpret technical drawings, specifications, diagrams, and schematics to meet product tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and modify electrical hardware, fixtures, software, and production equipment.
  • Perform in-process quality inspections, identify process deviations, and support troubleshooting efforts.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation, process data, productivity reports, and incident reports.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, or a two-year degree or certificate from an accredited college, university, or technical school.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools and interpret drawings, specifications, and electronic schematics.
  • Ability to assist with problem analysis and make independent decisions.
  • Strong team communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and remain on your feet for an eight-hour workday.
  • Ability to follow safety requirements, quality systems, and applicable regulations.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Lean 5S, and Kanban.
  • High-voltage assembly experience, especially with DC energy storage systems.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment and machines.
