Commercial Relationship Manager III

Salary: $102,000–$208,000 annual base compensation, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Build, service, originate, monitor, and renew commercial loan relationships for companies with $50MM to $1B in annual revenue.
• Analyze, structure, negotiate, and close profitable commercial loan transactions.
• Underwrite new and existing credit requests by reviewing financial statements, verifying documentation, conducting credit checks, and assessing policy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage portfolio performance through periodic reviews, early problem recognition, remedial management, and coordination with workout teams.
• Coordinate attorneys, accountants, consultants, appraisers, title companies, government agencies, and internal support personnel to complete transactions.
• Promote and cross-sell business checking, treasury management, consumer banking, and other bank products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant banking or finance experience.
• At least 6 years of commercial lending experience.
• Strong analytical, credit, interpersonal, sales, organizational, oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with loan underwriting, financial statement analysis, credit checks, and commercial credit documentation.
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and additional banking systems.
• The position is classified as exempt from overtime eligibility.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating, structuring, and closing complex commercial loan transactions.
• MBA in Finance or Accounting.
• 8+ years of middle-market lending experience.
• Experience underwriting complex commercial credits and preparing legal documentation.
• Knowledge of SBA and similar government guarantee programs.
