Software Engineer, Fleet Management (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; hybrid work from the office and home

Salary: $176,500–$220,800 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain full-stack features across Fleet Management services.
• Implement frontend, backend, API, database, and cloud service functionality.
• Build systems for monitoring vehicle health, configuration, software status, and location.
• Contribute to technical design and deliver scalable, maintainable services.
• Write tested, performant code and review peer contributions.

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience building full-stack web applications or services.
• Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend development.
• Experience with APIs, databases, schemas, and backend services.
• Ability to deliver clean, tested, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with cloud services, distributed systems, or microservices.
• Ability to work from the Sunnyvale office under a hybrid policy.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, TypeScript, MUI, Rust, Go, Node, Kubernetes, Bazel, or Azure.
• Experience with fleet management, robotics, autonomy, drones, vehicles, or operational tooling.
• Experience with scalable backend systems, monitoring, reliability, or high-volume data workflows.
