Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and own backend infrastructure connecting robotics software, data platforms, machine learning systems, and digital twins.
• Build user-facing applications, APIs, and CRUD services that expose data platform capabilities.
• Create backend services that integrate with data architectures and enable data consumption.
• Develop frontend interfaces for data visualization, analytics, and platform management.
• Deploy and maintain software across edge and cloud environments, integrating with robotic operating systems.
• Improve developer productivity and system observability through internal tooling.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping production-quality software under real-world operational constraints.
• Ability to independently identify, scope, design, and execute software projects.
• Understanding of databases, data pipelines, and software platforms.
• Experience designing software in collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn new programming languages and tools.

Nice to have

• Experience developing software for robotics or additive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS).
• Experience owning software end to end in a small company or startup.
