Senior Fullstack Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA; hybrid work at the headquarters. Up to 10% travel to client and customer locations may be required.

Base salary: $149,000–$204,600 per year, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Lead design and implementation of medium-to-large initiatives across Java/Spring microservices, event-driven integrations, and supporting web interfaces.
• Own technical direction for highly available and scalable services using Kafka, REST APIs, stateful workflows, and near real-time operational data.
• Translate business and operational requirements into practical designs, implementation plans, and maintainable software.
• Drive design reviews, code reviews, testing strategy, operational readiness, production troubleshooting, and system reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with product, QA, SRE/cloud, and adjacent engineering teams to remove delivery blockers.
• Mentor engineers and promote observability, resiliency, and maintainability practices.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of Core Java development experience, using Java 8 or above.
• At least 2 years of TypeScript and Angular development experience.
• Experience working in microservices environments.
• Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of robotics and/or automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client and customer locations.
