Lead Workday Specialist (Workday)

Location: Gurugram, India; hybrid with physical office presence at least 2 days per week. Flexible working is required to accommodate global team time zones.

What you will do

• Resolve user incidents and requests on the Workday platform, working with third-party support providers and Workday when required.
• Manage data maintenance, user access and security, master data values, and complex organisational changes.
• Deliver enhancements, reporting requests, small projects, and contributions to larger HR systems projects.
• Assess Workday releases, integrations, and roadmap changes, communicating their impact to stakeholders.
• Support requirements gathering, functional design, testing, regression testing, audits, and governance controls.
• Maintain process documentation, knowledge-sharing materials, and tools as the platform evolves.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting HR systems and Workday cloud technologies.
• Experience supporting and configuring Workday HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, and Talent Optimisation for a global organisation.
• Experience working in a business applications environment using Workday technology.
• Ability to understand complex business process flows and their data dependencies.
• Experience communicating with HR business stakeholders.
• Availability for hybrid work in Gurugram with at least 2 office days per week.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an HR professional.
• Workday Pro or Workday certification.
