Workday Financials Functional Analyst (Workday)

What you will do

• Own governance of ledgers, cost centers, worktags, accounting structures, and financial data integrity.
• Configure journal sources, accounting rules, procurement, supplier invoices, expenses, approval workflows, and corporate card integrations.
• Manage assets, project costing, billing, revenue processes, customer invoicing, payments, banking integrations, and settlement processes.
• Build financial reports, dashboards, calculated fields, reconciliations, and audit-ready reporting.
• Maintain role-based security and segregation of duties in partnership with IT.
• Lead Workday Financials release readiness, regression testing, documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience with ownership of business process configuration.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including GAAP, financial close processes, and internal controls.
• Experience with the Foundation Data Model and Financial Accounting, plus at least two of Procure-to-Pay, Expenses, Business Assets, Projects, Banking, and Settlement.
• Experience building Workday financial reports and calculated fields.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and requirements-gathering skills.
• Working knowledge of Workday security and release cycles.
