Transaction Specialist (Procurement)

Salary: $39,100–$66,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Obtain electronic status confirmations for purchase orders that are not transmitted through EDI.
• Coordinate the Transaction Management Application with Outlook to confirm purchase orders.
• Collect supplier acknowledgments for unconfirmed orders within defined service level agreements.
• Contact suppliers by phone to place or confirm orders during scheduled daily call times.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with providers and suppliers.
• Prepare statistical data and run daily and monthly status reports using SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant degree preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in an open team environment.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
