Process Engineer (Thermal Spray)

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop customer projects and industrialize current thermal spray coating projects.
• Create process documentation, including work instructions and workmanship standards.
• Work hands-on with production staff to provide technical support and ensure process documents are followed.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process problems and communicate with customer engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Support the QA department with internal and external audits.
• Improve operations for higher quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.

Requirements

• Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and blueprint interpretation.
• Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, commitment, and motivation.
• Work on site with the production team in Houston, Texas.

• Robotics programming or teaching experience.
