Manufacturing Process Engineer

Location: Kent, Washington, United States; onsite. Travel: 5% to other Hypertherm locations.

Base pay: $81,164–$135,275 annually.

What you will do

• Lead warehouse process-improvement projects focused on efficiency, inventory accuracy, physical capacity, product flow, and order-fulfillment performance.
• Analyze workflows and operational data to identify and quantify continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Design warehouse layouts, material-storage solutions, workstations, tooling, and equipment for aftermarket fulfillment.
• Evaluate, justify, implement, program, operate, and maintain new equipment.
• Define KPI models and use SQL, Power BI, and other analytical tools to measure and sustain performance.
• Manage projects from concept through implementation while coordinating scope, schedule, budget, stakeholders, risk, safety, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least two years of relevant manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, order-fulfillment, or process-engineering experience.
• Experience designing and implementing warehouse layouts for material storage and flow, and designing processes and selecting equipment for aftermarket order fulfillment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with SQL, SolidWorks, and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of project management, process documentation, safety integration, continuous improvement, and problem-solving with incomplete data.
