Assistant Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Sinton - Teets Trail, United States; onsite work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate operations across one or more plant areas while reporting to the Plant Manager.
• Lead supervisors and cross-functional personnel to achieve safety, quality, delivery, metal utilization, productivity, and efficiency goals.
• Plan and manage daily production and oversee operational reporting.
• Monitor training and processes to ensure conforming products meet customer requirements.
• Maintain the Preventive Maintenance program and support operational efficiency and quality objectives.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on lean principles, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• 3–5 years of continuous improvement experience, including Six Sigma certification.
• 3–5 years of quality experience, or aerospace experience if no quality background is available.
• Strong project management skills, teamwork ability, and a safety-focused mindset.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
