Process Engineer, Assoc. (Thermal Spray)

Location: East Windsor, Connecticut, United States; onsite shop-floor work required

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate customer projects from design through implementation.
• Work within customer specifications and site standards.
• Learn and apply knowledge of new products, engineered coatings, and materials.
• Verify final products and collaborate with production engineering to resolve issues.
• Perform basic root cause analysis and support hands-on activities on the shop floor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, process, or quality engineering.
• Knowledge of basic root cause analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, configuration management, and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and apply engineering judgment.

Nice to have

• Thermal spray, coating, or special process experience.
• 3D design or robotics experience.
