What you will do

  • Design, plan, and execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments for new product development and manufacturing improvements.
  • Support New Product Introduction by creating experimental plans, analyzing data, summarizing findings, and preparing technical reports.
  • Prepare batch reports, temporary batch instructions, and process change documentation.
  • Coordinate sample batches and lead manufacturing trials, scale-up activities, and technology transfer into commercial production.
  • Participate in hazard and operability studies, safety reviews, risk assessments, equipment commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams on project execution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least one to two years of experience in a chemical, food, pharmaceutical, consumer products, specialty materials, or other manufacturing environment; internships, co-ops, and postgraduate manufacturing experience are considered.
  • Experience with manufacturing operations, process engineering, production, scale-up, continuous improvement, or process development.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and engineering fundamentals in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to analyze technical and operational data using spreadsheet and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication, organization, project management, independent working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fragrance, flavor, food, consumer products, pharmaceutical, or specialty chemical manufacturing.
  • Exposure to process safety, manufacturing risk assessments, equipment commissioning, startup activities, technology transfer, or new product commercialization.
