Process Engineer 4 (Chemical Process Engineering)

Salary: $114,960–$172,440 per year

What you will do

• Lead and mentor engineers and designers across multiple concurrent process engineering projects.
• Develop conceptual designs, system evaluations, heat and material balances, process flow diagrams, calculations, P&IDs, scopes of work, and equipment data sheets.
• Evaluate alternatives for constructability, operational performance, energy efficiency, reliability, maintainability, lifecycle cost, and environmental impact.
• Manage process scope changes, budgets, schedules, staffing, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineers, construction teams, site personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for compliance with standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 12 years of professional engineering experience.
• At least 6 years of EPCm experience or direct experience with chemical process operating companies.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling, pump sizing, heat transfer, heat exchanger design, process equipment, and capital cost estimating.
• Knowledge of AFT Fathom or AFT Arrow is valuable, with the ability to learn these tools accepted.
• Strong communication, technical documentation, Microsoft Office, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
