Senior Staff Product and Program Manager (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Hybrid, with work from an hirify.global office at least 3 days per week in Mountain View, San Francisco, or Pittsburgh, United States. The role requires up to 25% travel in the US and Europe.

Salary: $197,000–$316,000 per year for Mountain View and San Francisco; $178,000–$285,000 per year for Pittsburgh. Additional annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver software for hardware/software integration and new vehicle bring-up programs.
• Develop engineering plans for enabling new hardware platforms from conception through on-road deployment.
• Coordinate executive program reviews and provide current program status and information.
• Partner with software, embedded firmware, hardware engineering, product, operations, and other program management teams.
• Inform future hardware architecture through software requirements and feasibility analysis.
• Facilitate initial bring-up, testing, reliability feedback, and deployment of new hardware platforms with vehicle operations teams and industry hardware partners.

Requirements

• Ability to work from an hirify.global office at least 3 days per week.
• Up to 25% travel in the US and Europe is required.
• At least 7 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or Engineering Manager in autonomous systems, robotics, embedded systems, or software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
• Strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and experience working with engineering teams.
• Strong project management experience with practical familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automotive platforms, autonomous vehicles, or safety-critical software development.
