Events Manager | EMEA | Remote

Location: Remote within the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Germany; approximately 40% travel, including APJ and occasional APJ/AMER time-zone work.

Salary: SEK 670,000–805,000 OTE annually in Sweden, plus RSUs. Compensation is country-specific.

What you will do

• Manage and deliver owned regional user conferences and third-party sponsorships across EMEA, with potential expansion to APJ.
• Handle end-to-end event logistics, including venue sourcing, negotiation, contracting, vendor coordination, booth setup, registration, and on-site execution.
• Own event timelines, budgets, contracts, vendor communications, and stakeholder visibility.
• Define success metrics, conduct post-event analysis, and apply insights to improve performance and ROI.
• Create, review, and approve event assets, presentations, collateral, signage, and registration experiences.
• Use AI and automation tools to improve planning, execution accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be located in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Germany.
• 4+ years of direct event management experience, including independently owned conferences and third-party sponsorships.
• Experience managing the complete event lifecycle, including venues, contracts, budgets, vendors, registration, on-site delivery, and post-event analysis.
• Experience serving as the primary on-site lead and making real-time decisions during in-person events.
• Willingness to travel by plane approximately 40%, including long-haul APJ travel and occasional APJ/AMER time-zone work.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, project management, commercial judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Curiosity about AI-driven marketing technologies, including Claude Code.
• Proficiency in Zuddl or similar registration platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Monday.com.
