What you will do

• Drive hardware design maturation and operational decisions through loads and dynamics analysis.
• Lead the development, execution, delivery, and validation of coupled loads, vibroacoustic, and other dynamic analyses.
• Develop dynamic loads, levels, and criteria for Terran R vehicles and supporting hardware from concept through data review.
• Maintain and improve analysis tools, workflows, automation, and engineering roadmaps.
• Guide system and operational design to improve performance, reliability, robustness, and simplicity.
• Mentor analysts and collaborate with Structures, Mechanisms, Fluids, GNCP, Launch, Test, Aerodynamics, and Dynamic Environments teams.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience structuring, negotiating, executing, and delivering complex analysis projects to hardware teams and certification authorities.
• Experience with finite element or other modeling approaches for dynamic response analysis.
• Experience developing dynamics analysis tools and workflows.
• Experience with relevant testing, instrumentation, and data analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience leading technical teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Experience leading anomaly resolutions or failure investigations.
• Experience in a dynamics role from concept through verification, validation, and certification on a vehicle program.
• Working knowledge of liquid rocket engines, fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, or structural mechanics.
