Network Engineering Lead Architect (Cisco)

Location: Fully onsite in Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $135,000–$150,000 per year, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable enterprise network solutions with IT and business teams.
• Architect and support datacenter and branch infrastructure, including Cisco ACI switches, routers, firewalls, diagrams, and operational handover.
• Manage hybrid cloud infrastructure, third-party connections, and cloud migration projects.
• Provide technical escalation, lifecycle support, configuration control, and after-hours operational changes for network assets.
• Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Network Engineers.
• Coordinate business continuity testing and maintain compliance with applicable bank regulations and security practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience supporting Cisco networks required.
• Advanced knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, VoIP, QoS, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Advanced experience with Meraki switches, access points, MX devices, Cisco ACI, and datacenter equipment including Cisco Nexus, ISR, and ASR systems.
• Advanced experience configuring, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with network automation and scripting, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
• High school diploma/GED and a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology are preferred.
