Principal Enterprise Network Architect

Location: Richardson, Texas, USA; travel to other North American sites, including Burlington, Vermont, is required for implementations.

Salary: $147,000–$248,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and long-range planning for network infrastructure, global SDWAN, WAN optimization, and enterprise voice architecture.
• Define scalable, highly available, secure connectivity architectures for semiconductor fabs, sales offices, and design offices.
• Design and implement next-generation data center networks using Leaf-Spine topologies, Cisco ACI, and Arista platforms.
• Automate network operations and develop CI/CD pipelines for network changes using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Lead enterprise Voice/VoIP integration, including SBCs, SIP trunking, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Webex.
• Coordinate with Server, Security, Cloud, and Observability teams while managing reference architectures, deployment playbooks, vendor relationships, budgets, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus networking for data centers.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, network infrastructure architecture, and traffic optimization from premises to cloud.
• Ability to travel to other North American sites for implementations.
