Solutions Architect – Network & Security (Network Security)

Location: US - TX - Home Office; remote position with a home office setup

Salary: $100,000–$175,000 annual pay, including base salary and bonus

What you will do

• Analyze, design, implement, deploy, troubleshoot, configure, upgrade, and migrate networking and security environments.
• Lead customer projects and workshops as the technical subject-matter expert, maintaining accountability for project outcomes.
• Develop technical strategies, roadmaps, service offerings, best practices, and deployment documentation.
• Advise technical sales teams on opportunity discovery, solution scoping, customer engagement, and sales enablement.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders through written deliverables and verbal presentations.
• Stay current with networking, cloud security, and market trends while supporting webinars, conferences, and professional certification efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent related work experience in network engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
• 5–7 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility.
• 3–5 years of experience consulting, designing, implementing, and integrating Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and other networking technologies.
• Strong proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architecture, plus microservices, APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, infrastructure as code, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of system security, data privacy, compliance, enterprise solution design, and clear technical communication.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification.
• AWS or Azure cloud networking certification.
• Palo Alto PCNSE certification.
