Senior Network Solution Architect (Network Security)

What you will do

• Lead client discovery sessions and translate business goals, technical requirements, and constraints into actionable network solutions.
• Design secure, scalable architectures across routing and switching, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, wireless, data center and campus fabric, segmentation, NAC, and next-generation firewalls.
• Assess client network environments, validate solution feasibility, and identify modernization opportunities.
• Develop cost models, licensing and subscription estimates, resource plans, timelines, solution narratives, proposals, and Statements of Work.
• Coordinate solution alignment across sales, delivery, engineering, vendors, and distribution partners.
• Mentor Solution Architects and contribute reusable reference designs, blueprints, and presales improvements.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in IT solution design, network architecture, or technical presales, including complex multi-workstream pursuits.
• Deep enterprise networking and network security expertise, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs/VXLAN, QoS, multicast, and network automation.
• Hands-on architecture experience with Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, and Fortinet platforms.
• Experience designing SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, Zero Trust network access, segmentation, and multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud connectivity.
• Strong client-facing presentation, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Expert-level certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, HPE Aruba ACSP/ACMX, or Fortinet NSE 6–8 / FCSS.
• Experience with managed service providers, value-added resellers, or systems integrators.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, network observability, compliance frameworks, and certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP, TOGAF, or ITIL.
• Experience serving financial services, healthcare, retail, education, or public-sector organizations.
