Senior Full Stack Engineer (Azure)

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required. A dedicated home workspace and a wired DSL or cable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload are required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and modernize applications and platforms across front-end, back-end, databases, integrations, and hosting.
• Define pragmatic architecture patterns across two independent insurance technology stacks and supporting services.
• Address technical debt, reliability gaps, and system complexity to improve scalability and operational supportability.
• Build CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, security-as-code, monitoring, logging, alerting, and other operational automation.
• Apply cloud-native patterns such as containers and orchestration where appropriate.
• Mentor engineers through architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, delivery practices, and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications and/or infrastructure.
• Deep full-stack engineering experience with front-end, back-end, data, integrations, and hosting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies including .NET, SQL Server, Windows-based services, and Azure-hosted solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security as code, automated testing, observability, modernization, and reliability engineering.
• Ability to work autonomously, translate ambiguous requirements into pragmatic designs, communicate tradeoffs, and remain hands-on while providing technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or AKS.
• Experience with hirify.global-approved code-generation tooling such as Windsurf or Codeium.
