Senior Application Engineer (Fullstack/.NET)

Location: Hybrid from the Richfield, Ohio office at least two days per week, or fully remote from the USA if not local to the office. Core in-office days are Tuesday and Wednesday for hybrid employees.

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, program, build, deploy, and maintain software applications supporting insurance and business processes.
• Implement new features from business requirements and integrate applications with existing systems.
• Develop technical specifications and integration solutions that improve data flow and system interoperability.
• Support testing, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and software enhancements.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, resolving issues that affect system efficiency.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of software engineering and/or application engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages and experience with cloud platforms and modern development frameworks.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum environments and complex project deliverables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, including an understanding of machine learning concepts and their software engineering implications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET/C#, SQL, full-stack development, and test automation.
