IT Systems Engineer

Location: East Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer Windows systems and Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, organizational units, and Group Policy Objects.
• Configure and maintain DNS servers, DHCP scopes, Windows servers, and IP address assignments.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms, including Kerberos, two-factor authentication tokens, and certificates.
• Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and system logs.
• Implement secure network architectures, security controls, and accreditation procedures for DOD programs.
• Support Engineering department technology upgrades, digital transformation initiatives, and related project budgets.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Windows Systems Engineer focused on Active Directory administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• The position may involve access to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
