Windows Systems Administrator

Location: United States work authorization is required for the security-cleared position.

Salary: $189,000–$207,000 per year, plus $47,000–$52,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, maintain, and mature Windows server and desktop environments, including Active Directory Domain Controllers.
• Create, deploy, and maintain the MCM application suite and automated server and workstation imaging and patching.
• Manage Active Directory accounts, groups, objects, Group Policy Objects, and role-based access controls.
• Develop software rollout and Windows operating system update strategies.
• Maintain systems for SSP and STIG compliance and provide security documentation and artifacts to the ISSO and management.
• Develop infrastructure support procedures, maintain system documentation, and provide security support.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• Experience deploying and managing Windows desktop and server operating systems in bare-metal and virtual environments.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and deploying workstation and desktop images using PXE boot, MCM, or other image management platforms.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Active Directory accounts, groups, objects, and GPOs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, packet flow analysis, network architecture, operating systems, and network security principles.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification and an associate degree or higher in a computer science-related field, and/or two years of networking-related experience.

Nice to have

• Microsoft SQL troubleshooting, Microsoft Certificate Authorities, PowerShell, and VMware experience.
• Experience with hybrid Windows/Linux environments, hardened Windows Server deployments, and STIG implementation.
• Experience with Atlassian tools and monitoring solutions such as Nagios or WhatsUp Gold.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, writing, documentation, and requirements-gathering skills.
