Associate Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: United Kingdom; remote-first with occasional customer sessions, meetings, or events and up to approximately 10% travel.

What you will do

• Implement low-complexity clinical study configurations from customer protocols, including eCOA, ePRO, eConsent, visit schedules, and forms.
• Author, configure, and optimize agents in Agent Studio using reasoning loops, tool use, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Build test scenarios, perform technical and quality assurance checks, and resolve defects before sign-off.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, technical milestones, financials, timecards, and workload across concurrent assignments.
• Prepare internal and customer status updates, escalate risks, and contribute to knowledge transfer and training materials.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in platform configuration, technical implementation, or a related technical delivery role, including internships.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Health Informatics, or a related technical field preferred.
• Foundational understanding of agentic AI concepts, including LLMs, agents, prompts, reasoning loops, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Familiarity with software configuration, low-code or platform tooling, the software development lifecycle, and external system integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, Confluence, Postman, command-line tools, or terminal environments.
• Strong technical problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, communication, and ability to learn new platforms quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical trials or eClinical systems such as eCOA, ePRO, or eConsent.
• Coursework or projects in AI, data, or software configuration.
