Senior Agentic AI Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, and operationalize production-grade agentic AI workflows for medical imaging clinical trials.
• Translate clinical and product development life cycle workflows into agent-compatible systems with validation rules and human oversight.
• Develop multi-step orchestration, tool integrations, retrieval-augmented generation, structured outputs, and scalable backend services and APIs.
• Create evaluation frameworks covering task success, grounding quality, hallucination risk, regression testing, and agent reliability.
• Own CI/CD, deployments, rollback strategies, observability, security, privacy, auditability, and production scalability.
• Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product, Imaging Operations, Clinical Operations, QA, Security, Regulatory, Platform, and DevOps stakeholders.

Requirements

• Solid professional software engineering experience and ownership of complex systems from design through production.
• Hands-on experience designing agentic AI systems, including task decomposition, orchestration, tool and API integration, structured outputs, validation, and error handling.
• Deep practical experience with RAG, including chunking, embeddings, retrieval quality evaluation, grounding, and traceability.
• Experience building scalable backend services, APIs, and pipelines for AI-driven workflows, together with strong MLOps or DevOps practices.
• Experience operationalizing AI systems at scale, leading technical initiatives, and mentoring engineers.
• Fluent English required. A master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical trials, life sciences, medical imaging workflows, DICOM metadata, imaging modalities, or imaging quality control.
• Experience developing software in regulated or quality-sensitive environments with validation, auditability, and traceability requirements.
• Awareness of privacy and security principles for healthcare and other sensitive data.
• Relevant AI/ML specialization or a master’s degree in a related AI/ML field.
• Experience contributing to internal platforms, shared engineering frameworks, reference implementations, or shared libraries.
