Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom. Hybrid work model with onsite work at least 50% of the time for employees within commuting distance of a hirify.global office. Regular travel across EU and US customer sites is required.

What you will do

• Embed with enterprise customers, including banks and regulated corporations, to understand audit, risk, compliance, and governance workflows.
• Run discovery workshops, prototype agentic solutions, and determine which workflows require agents rather than simpler automation.
• Build integrations and reliable data pipelines connecting customer enterprise systems.
• Move AI agents from prototypes to production by developing evaluation infrastructure, golden datasets, guardrails, and observability.
• Address agent failure modes such as model-update regressions, context-window degradation, prompt instability, and nondeterministic outputs.
• Translate customer needs into API surfaces, data integration requirements, agent tool specifications, and platform improvements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience shipping at least one SaaS production agent from prototype through evaluation, deployment, and regression testing.
• Enterprise implementation experience involving data from multiple systems, integrations, and onboarding complex customers onto technical platforms.
• Deep understanding of the Agent Development Life Cycle, including evaluation frameworks, guardrails, observability, prompt versioning, and golden datasets.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, data pipelines, backend services, and agent tool-calling frameworks such as MCP or equivalent.
• Experience with TypeScript and/or Python and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and business environments and learn GRC, audit, and compliance domains quickly.

Nice to have

• Background in Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or forward-deployed technical engineering.
• Familiarity with GRC, audit, or compliance software platforms.
• Exposure to LLMOps tooling, including tracing, prompt versioning, evaluation at scale, and regression testing frameworks.
• Prior experience in customer-facing engineering or embedded solutions roles.
