Network Engineer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; hybrid work schedule

Salary: $55–$58 per hour

What you will do

• Install, support, maintain, and consolidate network infrastructure and services.
• Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and related applications.
• Provide technical support to end users for hardware and application issues.
• Design and implement secured network solutions using security and regulatory policies.
• Develop operational procedures, maintain documentation, and follow change-management requirements.
• Collaborate with peers, managers, and internal customers to resolve issues and deliver network-engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of network-engineering experience or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
• At least 2 years of WAN experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a large enterprise network organization.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule in Charlotte, North Carolina.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring enterprise-level Cisco routers and switches in voice-network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of operational support for switches and routers.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Knowledge of SIP and SIP networks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud computing technology.
