Network Engineer Senior

Location: Johnston, Rhode Island, United States; ability to travel up to 10% globally or domestically.

Salary: $96,800–$145,200 annual base pay, plus target performance-based annual cash incentive equal to 10% of base pay.

What you will do

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, VPN, routing, firewall, and network security solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies through proof-of-concept testing and recommend network optimization and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Support network assessments and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions.
• Deploy resilient infrastructure supporting business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery operations.
• Resolve complex network, routing, and security incidents as a Level 3 escalation point and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Create HLDs, LLDs, and SOPs while mentoring junior engineers and leading project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on enterprise network engineering, security, and infrastructure deployment experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale, complex, highly available global IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, directory services, LAN/WAN topologies, and secure routing across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and Branch Connectors; Cisco Nexus Dashboard; HPE Mist Wireless; Cisco Meraki; Cisco Enterprise Wireless; and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% globally or domestically for major implementations and M&A integration projects.

Nice to have

• CCNP or CCIE certification in Enterprise or Data Center.
• JNCIP-MistAI, ZDTE, CISSP, PCNSE, or PCNSA certification.
