Product Verification Technologist (Optical Transport)

Salary: C$24.37–C$35.89 per hour

What you will do

• Execute product verification test strategies for packet optical network products with guidance from senior verification team members.
• Identify, investigate, and track product deficiencies through resolution.
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to confirm product conformance to design intent.
• Configure and maintain lab test environments that reflect customer network deployments.
• Manage product and lab inventory used for verification activities.
• Build knowledge of transport products and test equipment through ongoing training.

Requirements

• Technology degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or an equivalent field.
• At least 2 years of relevant technologist experience.
• Experience applying computer software and productivity tools.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a self-directed approach to assigned work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of optical transport technology.
• Experience using optical transport test equipment.
• Strong organization skills for managing time, resources, and priorities.
