Test Automation, Senior Specialist

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 90,000–105,000 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan

What You Will Do

• Perform automation testing and support for digital payment products and services, with a focus on Money Movement.
• Review functional and design specifications to define effective testing approaches.
• Design, document, and optimize integration automation frameworks and best practices.
• Enhance automation strategies for microservices, end-to-end user flows, service dependencies, and database integrations.
• Define and monitor automation metrics, evaluate test scripts, and recommend improvements.
• Develop non-functional automation tests for service hirify.globaltions, timeouts, and retries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with hands-on expertise in software automation testing, test case development, execution, analysis, and optimization.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing automation frameworks, including test reporting.
• Experience with NUnit or JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, API testing using Postman or similar tools, and load testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of C# and JavaScript; familiarity with web application architecture, APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, Git/Stash, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global in Canada in a full-time capacity; successful candidates must complete applicable Canadian background checks.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies; Kanban experience is desirable.
