Quality Technician III (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Vernon, BC, Canada; Monday–Friday in the Vernon office and manufacturing facility

Salary: CAD $29–$32 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze trends in product nonconformances, NCRs, RMAs, and customer claims to identify root causes and implement corrective actions with 8D documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on NPD processes, APQP, DFM, FMEA, PPAP, and FAI.
• Participate in Material Review Board activities, support material inspections and dispositions, and improve scrap and NCR data accuracy.
• Prepare supplier, production, and customer quality reports and metrics with the Quality Manager.
• Develop and maintain quality acceptance criteria, SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and related training for Operations.
• Review daily RMA records in IFS, coordinate product-return analysis, initiate supplier corrective action requests, and conduct internal audits.

Requirements

• Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technical Diploma.
• At least 3 years of electronic or quality control experience.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills, problem-solving ability, and knowledge of statistical analysis and quality standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Planning, Operations, Manufacturing, supervisors, and peers.
• Must establish employment eligibility and successfully complete background checks, including reference and national criminal record checks.
• Must work onsite at the Vernon, BC location and use appropriate personal protective equipment when required on the manufacturing floor.
