What you will do
- Analyze product nonconformance trends (NCRs and RMAs) to drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on New Product Development (NPD) processes, including DFM, FMEA, PPAP, and FAI.
- Manage Material Review Board activities to reduce scrap and improve operational cost-efficiency.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
- Conduct internal process, product, and system audits according to the annual program.
- Support production and manufacturing engineering by developing quality acceptance criteria and facilitating team training.
Requirements
- Must be based in Vernon, BC, Canada
- Electronic, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering Technical Diploma.
- 3+ years of experience in electronic or quality control environments.
- Proficiency in quality methodologies such as 8D, PPAP, FMEA, and FAI.
- Ability to successfully complete background checks and criminal record verification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
