Test Technician (Electronics and RF)

Location: Tempe, Arizona; must be located in Tempe. Weekend Panama shift, 6 a.m.–6 p.m.

Salary: $21.63–$34.13 per hour. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area, the range is $26.68–$40.14 per hour.

What you will do

• Set up, configure, and operate automated test equipment for commercial and government programs.
• Run tests on hirify.global products and report results.
• Perform environmental, RF, and acceptance testing, including TVAC and thermocycling.
• Assist with building and maintaining specialized test equipment.
• Prepare and update assembly drawings, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and acceptance test procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in electronics and proven experience testing electronic products.
• Experience with environmental testing and familiarity with common test equipment and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to follow test procedures and complete required documentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• US citizenship required.
• Active US Secret clearance or ability to obtain it when administratively feasible; must be located in Tempe, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with RF and environmental test setups.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and other RF test equipment.
• Experience with vacuum and thermal chambers and Watlow controllers.
