Calibration Technician (Industrial Weighing)

Location: Quakertown, Pennsylvania, United States; field work at customer locations may be required. Only U.S. Persons may be considered due to ITAR export-control requirements.

What you will do

• Calibrate mechanical inspection, measuring, and testing equipment, including hardness testers, optical comparators, torque equipment, pressure gauges, temperature equipment, and force equipment.
• Calibrate, repair, and install scales, balances, industrial printers, and related equipment at laboratories, clean rooms, manufacturing facilities, and outdoor industrial sites.
• Assist senior technicians with field and facility calibrations and repairs while learning established procedures.
• Record service data accurately in service-order software and follow quality, safety, regulatory, and industry requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers and support customer service needs.
• Respond to emergency scale and balance repair requests, including occasional nights and weekends.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status is required for access to information controlled under ITAR.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• Proficiency in electronic and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and the ability to learn custom software applications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied customer environments. CDL is preferred or must be obtained when eligible.
