Field Service Technician (Industrial Weighing Equipment)

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial floor and bench scales at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and support installations, projects, and repairs.
• Train end users to operate and maintain weighing equipment correctly.
• Document completed work in service software and maintain accurate service records.
• Coordinate with scheduling, service support, sales, and other technicians to meet customer uptime and response-time expectations.
• Maintain the company vehicle and parts inventory, follow safety and quality policies, and identify service or product needs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED, or five years of relevant work experience.
• One to three years of electro/mechanical repair or weighing-industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs, PC networking, and software configuration.
• Must reside within the assigned service territory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Weights and Measures license; willingness to travel overnight up to 10% on average and work overtime averaging 10–15%.

• Customer-facing or field service experience.
• Commercial experience.
