What you will do
- Support clients with legal and regulatory obligations under CDM, the Building Safety Act, and Building Regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks across construction projects, maintenance activities, and property management.
- Conduct risk assessments and on-site safety audits, documenting hazards including working at height, asbestos, and general site conditions.
- Prepare, review, and maintain client health and safety documentation and compliance records.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to embed safe practices into project planning and building design.
- Develop problem-solving, time management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction, or equivalent.
- Genuine interest in health and safety and safe building practices.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including CDM.
- Previous internship, placement, or project experience in construction, property, or risk management.
- Desire to develop health and safety skills in the workplace.
