Asbestos Compliance Manager (Facilities Management)

What you will do

• Develop and lead company asbestos procedures and promote a Zero Harm SHEQ culture.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, policies, and management system requirements.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety tours across operational locations.
• Support ISO audits, maintain SHEQ documentation, and analyse compliance data for trends and improvements.
• Provide subject-matter expertise during incident investigations and support site teams.
• Attend SHEQ meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BOHS qualification at minimum.
• Experience in social housing, maintenance, or minor works projects.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos legislation and best practices.
• Experience with audits, reporting, and compliance systems.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive organisation, and ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence required.
