Vehicle Integration Technician (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Atlanta, United States; up to 50% travel may be required

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Assemble cable harnesses, fabricate mounts, integrate off-the-shelf components, and test integrated systems.
• Use schematics, diagrams, and written or verbal instructions to complete assembly, fabrication, and integration work.
• Maintain and improve the reliability of electrical and mechanical vehicle autonomy systems, including sensing and actuation components.
• Collaborate with Autonomy Engineering on the calibration and integration of perception, planning, navigation, and control systems.
• Manage workshop readiness by maintaining consumables, tools, and workspace conditions.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, testing, and diagnostic equipment, including drill presses, miter saws, and digital voltmeters.
• Experience with power electronics, industrial batteries of varied chemistries, and DC-DC and DC-AC converters.
• Experience developing or supporting autonomy for a production ground vehicle subsystem or research prototype.
• Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, or equivalent Microsoft Office tools.
