Autonomous Semi Technician - Night Shift (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Dallas, TX; on-site. Current night shift hours are 11:00pm–7:30am and may change to support business needs.

What you will do

• Inspect and maintain the Class 8 autonomous trucking fleet to support performance and safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical components, sensors, cameras, GPS, and onboard computer systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components according to work instructions, manufacturer guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to provide feedback and support vehicle upgrades.
• Maintain maintenance records and parts inventory.
• Provide technical support to truck operators on vehicle systems, operating procedures, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a technician or mechanic, preferably with automotive or heavy-duty trucking equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with truck maintenance and repair, plus diagnostic tools and software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• On-site work in Dallas, TX; commitment to safety, protocols, and accurate documentation.

Nice to have

• Technical certification or vocational training in automotive technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• ASE certification.
• Experience with autonomous driving technology and vehicle sensors.
